Consortium Introduction

Track-T3c is the first platform in China focusing on “pancreatic injury and glucose and lipid metabolism imbalance”. It brings together interdisciplinary experts across endocrinology and metabolism, gastroenterology, pancreatic surgery, medical imaging and artificial intelligence (AI) to establish a standardized and multi-center clinical system and a nationwide collaborative innovation network, aiming to comprehensively characterize the landscape of pancreatic diabetes mellitus (T3cDM), and make an intelligent model of disease progression, to optimize prevention and treatment strategies.

Research Objective

The core objective of Track-T3c Consortium is to establish a mature pancreatic disease-specific cohort database and biobank, to carry out epidemiological, clinical, mechanism and translational research, and to explore the strategies for T3cDM involving pathogenesis, natural course, early screening, early diagnosis and effective treatment.

In the perspective of “real world-whole life”, the consortium will integrate multi-dimensional T3cDM clinical data, build high-precision prediction models, and develop intelligent decision support systems (DSS), to break through the technical bottleneck of individualized management, and realize the transformation from “experience driven” to “data driven”.
Adopting a “real-world, life-course” perspective, Track-T3c integrates multimodal clinical data—including longitudinal phenotypic, imaging, omics, and behavioral information—to build high-accuracy predictive models and deploy intelligent clinical decision support systems. This approach addresses critical bottlenecks in personalized management and facilitates a paradigm shift from experience-based to data-informed clinical practice.

Track-T3c Features

跨学科
Across disciplines
广覆盖
Wide coverage
深融合
Deep integration
锐创新
Sharp innovation

By transcending disciplinary boundaries, the Consortium has established a comprehensive clinical prevention, treatment, and scientific research system across 16 provinces, cities, and autonomous regions nationwide, thereby forming a nationally representative diagnostic and therapeutic network for type 3c diabetes mellitus (T3cDM). In collaboration with leading universities and research institutes in Europe and the United States, we will systematically integrate epidemiological and clinical insights derived from the Chinese population to develop a diagnosis and treatment pathway that is scientifically sound, clinically applicable, and aligned with China’s healthcare context.
